In 1980 I photographed my first wedding. Fifteen years later I retired from the photography industry. Based in Jasper, Georgia, I had the opportunity to serve clients both in Georgia and the surrounding states. I was the preferred wedding photographer at one of North Georgia's premiere resort communities. I did the majority of the high school senior portraiture at our local high school. My technique and style always set me apart. It was humbling that after almost fourteen years of "retirement" people still called to ask if I would make an exception and photograph their wedding or do their child%u2019s portrait. At the urging and encouragement of friends, family, and former clients I began to consider entering the field again. After much thought, prayer, and research I decided in the Fall of 2009 to reopen the business. The business side of photography has changed in the last few years with the advent of digital imaging. This has afforded me greater creativity than the days of film. As always, I will strive to make my competitive advantage my own technique and style.
